ナポリ最後の日。最初に昨日行ったピッツェリアに向かう。そこでは1ユーロかそこら現金が足らなかったにもかかわらずOKと言ってくれた店だ。昨日はウェイターが薦める海老のリングイーネを注文したが、今日は店の前で切り売りのピザを注文する。ショーケースにはいくつかのピザがあって、次から次へと焼きたてのピザが運ばれる。ソーセージとほうれん草のピザを注文する。とてもおいしく、しかも一切れ1.5ユーロ。昨日の借りがあるからと3ユーロ払う。ウェイターはこっちを覚えていた。

I was at Starita a bit early, they told me that they will be open from 12:00. A couchsurfer in Naples, Ely, a girl Greece sent me a SMS that she could go to Angelo to eat pizza together upon my post. I waited her at piazza Dante. It was sunny and warm, T-shirt was enough to stay outside. She appeared with her roommate Federica and greeted me. Without Internet connection, I had problems to contact local couch surfers, but she somehow succeeded to catch me in last minutes of my stay. I told her that Angelo should be closed due to the city guide, I wanted to be at hotel at latest at three to fetch my suitcase, we decided to walk through the city and buy some pizza.
スタリータには少し早くついた。店の人は12時に店が開くと言った。ナポリに住んでいる、ギリシャ出身のカウチサーファー、エリーがSMSを送ってきて、一緒にアンジェロにピザを食べに行こうと言う。彼女をダンテ広場で待つ。陽が射していてとても暖かく、Tシャツで十分なくらいだった。彼女はルームメートのフェデリーカを連れてきて僕に挨拶した。インターネットに繋げなくてカウチサーファーにコンタクトできなかったが、彼女はどうにか滞在の最終日に僕を捕まえてくれた。彼女には、シティガイドによると今日はアンジェロは休みのようだし、遅くとも15時にはスーツケースを取りににホテルに戻りたいと言うと、じゃあ街を歩きながらその辺でピザを買って食べようということになる。

I walked through the old city part yesterday, but I did not see all. Ely, a surgeon was skeptical that I would speak Italian. In narrow streets we saw lots of people waiting in front of pizzerias, cars were passing by within a few inches of crowd. We bought a piece of pizza at Matteo, Margherita for 1 Euro, and walked through narrow streets full of people toward piazza Garibaldi and each of us talked about ourselves. The cars were all the time warning people to step aside, so dense with people in the street. From the narrow streets I sometimes found beautiful churches for each I got some explanation from Naples natives. I talked about my stay in Biancavilla, Federica is from Sicily and talked about what I ate there. I saw live scampis or shells at fish markets near piazza Dante, I told her that I really love to eat fresh fish here and there in Sicily. There is almost no chance in Vienna. She told me that people do not often eat them raw. For my work camp, Ely told me that her father is working for olives in Greece, she quickly understood which kind of work I had in Sicily.
昨日街の中心街を歩き回ったが、もちろん全部は見ていない。外科医のエリーは、正直僕がイタリア語を話せるのか疑っていた。狭い通りでたくさんの人がピッツェリアの前に並んでいるのが見えた。車はぎりぎりのところで通り過ぎていく。マッテオでマルゲリータピザを1ユーロで買い、人で一杯の通りをガリバルディー広場のほうに向かって歩いていった。そしてそれぞれ自分たちのことについて話をする。車は通りの人たちに横に避けるようにクラクションを鳴らす。人があまりにもたくさん居る。狭い通りからは時々綺麗な教会が見え、ナポリの住んでいる二人が説明をしてくれた。ビアンカヴィラでの滞在について話をすると、フェデリーカが彼女はシチリアの出身だと言う。それでそこで食べたものについて話をする。ダンテ広場では生きた貝や海老を魚屋で見た。彼女にはナポリはシチリアの新鮮な魚が本当に気に入ったと話す。ウィーンではそのチャンスは無い。彼女は普通の人は魚をそれほど生では食べないと言う。ビアンカヴィラでのワークキャンプについてエリーは、父親がオリーブ畑で働いているからどんなことをしたかは予想がつくと言い、すぐにビアンカヴィラでの仕事の内容を理解した。

In streets many shops were selling Christmas goods, it reminded me of Ameyoko street in Tokyo where people can buy foods to celebrate or prepare for the New Year. I saw lots of peperoni figures for souvenir, was it the speciality of Naples??
通りではたくさんの店がクリスマスの商品を売っていた。東京は上野のアメ横を思い出す。新年のお祝いのために食品を買い求める。お土産としてたくさんペペロニの形をしたものを見る。これはナポリの名産なのかと自問する。
Ely took me to the cafe in front of Duomo and we had espresso together. I do not drink coffee often but Italian coffee is something different. I do myself exception for that. Quite a short time with them, but I really appreciate their hospitality. I really enjoyed talking with them.
エリーはドゥオモの向かいのカフェでエスプレッソを注文した。普段はコーヒーをそれほど飲まないが、イタリアのコーヒーは格別だ。本当に短い時間だったけど、彼らの心遣いに感謝した。一緒に話をしていて本当に楽しかった。
